Background
After 20 years (the last number where I was Director of Field Ministry) with CBMC, the largest and oldest marketplace ministry in 100 cities here in the USA and 80 countries. From this experience I gained a passion and heart to equip and develop leaders in Business and Ministry to leaders of Faith. Thus I have joined Ken Boa and Reflection Ministries to launch a leadership development ministry known as Leadership WORKS.
The increasing need I see in the USA and across the world is that leaders in business and ministry are struggling and on overload. With the demand and pace of their roles and companies, they find themselves isolated, trying harder and overly busy. Theystruggle with having a personal vibrant walk with the Lord. Thus they are focused inward with no means or direction for a solution.
Over the last ten years, I have worked with leaders throughout the US and a number of other countries to help them to experience a new type of leadership and a revived walk with the Lord through one simple truth - to allow Christ Himself to live and lead through them. This is at the heart of Leadership WORKS and my work with Ken and Reflections Ministry.
Leadership WORKS begins with the truth that Jesus Christ is the only leader - "Do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ." Matthew 23:10 and that it is He who lives and leads through a person. Jesus also taught his disciples, "I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His work" John 14:10 Jesus did not speak or lead on His own, His way of leadership was His Father abiding in Him to provide the spiritual resources to do the work.
