YOUR WORD

Lord, I give thanks for Your greatness, your goodness, and your love, and I now draw near to enjoy your presence.

Blessed are You, O Lord, God of Israel, our father, forever and ever. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for everything in heaven and earth is Yours. Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom, and You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You are the ruler of all things. In Your hand is power and might to exalt and to give strength to all. Therefore, my God, I give You thanks and praise Your glorious name. (1 Chronicles 29:10-13)

I will proclaim the name of the Lord and praise the greatness of my God. (Deuteronomy 32:3)

Take a moment to consider God’s awesome majesty and thank Him that He loves you and wants an intimate relationship with you.

MY PRAYER

I want to abound in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, in love, and in the grace of giving. (2 Corinthians 8:7)

I want to abound in love and faith toward the Lord Jesus and to all the saints. (Philemon 5)

Lord, I thank You for the depth of Your wisdom and knowledge and for the ransom that the God-man Christ Jesus provided. I thank You for the faithfulness of Your promises, and I ask that I would abound in love and faith.

YOUR WORD

O Lord, I am deeply grateful for Your wonderful acts, for Your abundant promises, and for the gift of my relationship with You through the merits of Christ.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, Your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Humble and riding on a donkey,
On a colt, the foal of a donkey.
He will proclaim peace to the nations;
His dominion will extend from sea to sea
And from the River to the ends of the earth. (Zechariah 9:9-10)

Take a moment to express your gratitude for the many blessings that you have received from the Lord.

MY PRAYER

If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. (Galatians 6:3)

I want to walk in a way that is worthy of the calling with which I was called, with all humility and meekness and patience. (Ephesians 4:1-2)

Lord, I thank You for the perfection of Your character and for Your promise to bring all things under Your perfect judgment. I thank You for calling me into the hope of Christ Jesus, and I ask that I would walk in humility and patience.

YOUR WORD

God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth, but also express it in the way I live.

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord,
Who walks in His ways. (Psalm 128:1)

The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him,
Who put their hope in His unfailing love. (Psalm 147:11)

Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.

MY PRAYER

He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, righteousness, and honor. (Proverbs 21:21)

I will not imitate what is evil but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God. (3 John 11)

Lord, I thank You that Your mercies never cease and that Your compassions never fail. I thank You for the richness of Your promises, and I ask that I would pursue righteousness, goodness, and love.

YOUR WORD

Lord, You have invited me to pray for the needs of others, and since You desire what is best for them, I take this opportunity to bring these requests to You.

The God of Israel spoke,
The Rock of Israel said to me:
"He who rules over men in righteousness,
Who rules in the fear of God,
Is like the light of morning when the sun rises,
A morning without clouds,
Like the tender grass springing out of the earth
Through the sunshine after rain." (2 Samuel 23:3-4)

Take a moment to lift up the needs of your family and friends, and to offer up any other burdens for others that the Lord brings to mind.

MY PRAYER

I will not boast about tomorrow, for I do not know what a day may bring forth. (Proverbs 27:1)

Thus says the Lord: "Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the strong man boast of his strength, and let not the rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, who exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for in these I delight," declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

Lord, I thank You that I can commit my cause to You and that You bring Your justice to the earth. I pray that I would fix my hope and confidence in You, and I ask that I would not be proud or presumptuous, but boast only in the knowledge of You.

YOUR WORD

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me;
You will stretch out Your hand against the anger of my foes,
And Your right hand will save me.
The Lord will perfect His work in me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
You will not abandon the works of Your hands. (Psalm 138:7-8)
