Lord, I praise you because . . .

You fulfill the desire of those who fear You.

The Lordis near to all who call upon Him,
 to all who call upon Him in truth. 
He fulfills the desire of those who fear Him;
He hears their cry and saves them. 
The Lordpreserves all who love Him,
but all the wicked He will destroy.

(Psalm 145:18-20)

Lord,

I give thanks that You are indeed near to all who call upon You in truth.  You satisfy the desire of all who look to You and trust in You and who fear Your holy name.  You are the Savior and preserver of all who love You.  You hold and protect Your people and keep them from destruction.  I will hope in You and rejoice in Your salvation.

Amen.
